My radiator blew on 101 on Thursday night and I rolled my BMW into the shop around 5:30pm and they had it replaced by the end of the day Friday. Because I live in Danville I couldn't make it to the shop by closing time and they aren't open on weekends. However, Jerry called me Saturday and told me he was in the shop and that he would wait for me to pick up my car. Now that it great service. I will take my car back to them whenever I have a problem even though they are 25 miles away. Highly recommended!

Pat at San Francisco Automotive Solutions and his staff are great and know how to fix anything on cars. I am very impressed with their professionalism and care.

very cool guys who will actually work on a 1968 firebird and go out of their way to get it right. call them "caregivers" - nice.

Pat and his crew have taken really good care of me and my cars over the years. I have a 1986 Cadillac that still runs like it's brand new thanks to these guys. They give excellent recommendations on what needs to be fixed right away and what you can wait on which both my American Express card and I greatly appreciate. They also are well connected to various body shops and interior specialists in the city. They're not the cheapest in town, but they're the place to go if you want honest professional service that is actually worth what you're paying for it.

I know nothing about cars. When people ask "What kind of car do you have" , I've said "Blue". In the past few years I have progressed to saying "1990 Blue Honda Civic" San Francisco Automotive Solutions rocks and doesn't laugh when I get towed in by Triple A (at least once a year). Maybe getting towed to All American sounds like they do a shitty job, but, in fact, I tow my shitty car there because....I TRUST THEM. I originally went to All American because my roommate always used them, but for some unknown reason took her car to another shop... This other shop told her that her car was totally fucked and would cost thousands of dollars to fix. She had it towed over to All American and one of the guys there told her that the other shop had "crimped her lines" (whatever that means!) and that she should not to go back to that shop. All American uncrimped her lines and sent her on her way for no charge. I go to All American because I can be upfront about being car-stupid but get trustworthy service...Plus Pat is soooooper nice, as are Doug and Terry. AND as another review said, they have me do repairs bit by bit and just try to keep my car running, rather than get me to spend a ton of money all at once. Pat says 'Lets fix this, and then see how it is going in 6 months, as I wouldn't want to do (fix) a lot more, then have the car die and then have you feel ripped off."These guys ROCK!!! really.Update... October 2007. I didn't get towed in this time as Triple A was able to jump start me and I drove in. All is good, and my car is going! When I picked up my car , I was about to drive out of the shop when a little elderly Filipino man asked me for a ride home. I, at first said, "No", but then decided that he was cool and just needed a ride. One of the guys from the shop came out to the street and helped the guy get in my car. I felt like they were checking out the situation to make sure I wasn't doing anything stupid. They care about my car and they care about me!

Pat is one of the best mechanics in San Francisco. I have been taking my cars to him ever since I moved here and I have had nothing but success with his work. He will not use cheap used parts and will tell you what he is going to do to help you. He will be more than happy to show you exactly what was done to the car and explain why it had to be done. The other guys that work there, Jerry, Pedro, and Hector all work very hard to get repairs completed efficiently and without delay. I highly recommend San Francisco Automotive Solutions.

Great place. They are very helpful and not trying to rip people off. I definitely recommend them.

AAA has been there for me. They fixed my starter and replaced my battery. The shop is clean and well-organized, and I feel assured that I'm not being ripped off.
