Looking for a mechanic can be frustrating, at least for me it has at times. I went to Yelp, chose two. Both establishments had good reviews. Being a AAA member I chose San Francisco Automotive Solutions. I am very happy I did! Will not bore you with too many details. Went to the shop knowing I needed a brake job. Patrick (CEO/Founder) detailed what they do with first timers. After a full inspection I got news that was more than concerning. After my very in depth conversation with Patrick I decided to go ahead with the job. I picked up my vehicle yesterday after one last replacement. I own a 2004 Mazda 6s purchased brand new. My vehicle drives like it did the first time I drove it home from the dealer!! The ride is smooth and that Mazda zoom is definitely there again!! I told Patrick he has a loyal customer for the life of my vehicle!! Doing business with Patrick was easy, comfortable and professional with some humor thrown in. My 2010 BMW 328 got towed during my visit to San Francisco and the towing company did some extensive damage to cooling system while towing. It was the last day of our visit and we had to get back on the road to get our hometown on time. We called San Francisco Automotive Solutions because of it's high ratings and spoke with Patrick. After explaining our situation, they started working on the car right away. Within ours they diagnosed what was wrong with the car, located the parts, and thankfully, they were able to change pretty much the entire cooling system in less than a day. Not only I am impressed with the professionalism and the speed of the service but I am also impressed with the quality of the work and the genuine concern Patrick showed us. So far I drove the car over 2000 miles and everything works like a clock. I would highly recommend this shop!

I’ve had my various cars fixed at All American Motors for over 35 years and have been completely satisfied with the work, the service as well as the overall experience there. I initially chose this garage because of its convenient location near downtown, where I taught at City College. In the ten years since I retired I continue to go there even though it’s a bit out my way. Why? Because of the long term relationship I’ve formed with Pat. I know when I take my car in, I’ll come away feeling confident and secure that my car will perform to its utmost. This feeling is enhanced because Pat has taken the time and shown the patience to explain in detail the repair work. In addition, he always looks ahead to whatever future work needs to be done.
