I can in to see if they can help me with a minor issue I was having with my trunk. The took a look & saw what the problem was right away. I left thing it would take some time to fix but then I received a text ten minutes later saying it was done & ready to pick. Came back & sure enough it was ready & the price was unbeatable. Definitely would recommend them & I'll be back also.

SFAS has been my go-to mechanic in SF for about six years now and were actually recommended to me by the AAA tow truck driver, since I hadn't had a vehicle in over 15 years, I didn't have a mechanic. I distinctly remember him saying, "a lot of people like this place," and handing me their card. I can clearly understand why, and have never regretted taking his advice. In the handful of times I have used their services, Patrick has done a great job of explaining the issues that needed to be addressed, explaining why they happened, answered every question I have had, occasionally advised against an up-sell, and generally done a great job with my vehicles. If you're looking for an honest, professional, no BS repair shop with a welcoming atmosphere, look no further.

Oil changes and tire repairs are done quickly and professionally. On top of that customer service is very good. Will be coming back for more car related problems!

Being a young driver, it would have been very easy for these guys to rip me off, but they did the exact opposite. The bottom plastic shield of my car was torn and dragging on the ground. In one afternoon they removed the issue and charged me nothing, when they could have charged me $700 dollars to replace a few parts. Pat, the person at the front desk, was extremely informative and friendly! Pat says "I always prefer to do the cheaper option, when the more expensive one isn't necessary."

I should have written this review years ago. There is literally no one I would trust more to work on my car than Stacey and his team at Affordable. They are the old-school, neighborhood model of what capitalism is supposed to be: they believe in keeping your business long-term--so they treat you fairly, honestly, explain what they're doing and why, treat you with absolute integrity, and trust that you'll keep coming back. And we all do.
